did you ever notice that if you're thin, people assume you have no issues with your body? like "I'm thin so everything is exactly how i want". you say "i'd like to tone up my stomach" or (heaven forbid) "i'd like to gain a few pounds". i'm really not fond of the word issues. we could say things to change.
I was just thinking about this yesterday actually. I recently became a marathon runner so my body has changed a lot in just a few months of training. I had a friend who assumed my pants size was a size or two smaller than they are! I was shocked! But it was interesting because I realize that even though I'm in better shape than I ever have been I still look in the mirror and see so many imperfections. Thanks for sharing this thought and many other honest ones.
