florida vs kentucky

it's quite amusing how it will be 85-90 here and people can't function. here it's nice most of the day. then around 4-5pm, it gets hot and only stays that way for a short time. in Florida, it starts out hot and stays that way all day. 

i'll take the short and sweet. though a nearby beach would be nice.

hot here isn't hot

i recently learned that in Lexington, 80 is considered "too hot" to do anything. that's spring in Florida.

#2 the roads here are like roller coasters. and massively bumpy.

like someone said "just put the damn tar down." I'll have to get a photo now that it's getting nicer out.

ever notice

I'm tall. and of the female breed. and thin. and like most people, i don't like short pants/high waters/whatever you want to call them. 

the problem......

to clothing companies (well most) 5'6" is considered a tall woman. 

1. that is not tall. i know a large amount of women over 5'10". 

2. wouldn't the companies know this as their models are well over 5'6". 

things I've learned in lexington

#1 you can never own enough boots.

and, i'm not talking those sexy high heel ones. before moving here, i owned 1 pair. i now own 6. cold feet and slidding on wet/icy ground arent something to play with.
